Help Support AAPVI!

Our Mission

AAPVI is a support group for parents of children with visual impairments. We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization. AAPVI is under the umbrella of the National Association for Parent of Visually Impaired Children (NAPVI). The Region 4 NAPVI representative lives in Birmingham and is an active member of our AAPVI group. The support group has members with children who range in age from under one year through senior in high school. Other professionals in the field of blindness and low vision have approached the AAPVI President about becoming members of the support group. Blind professionals working in their chosen fields have approached the AAPVI President about becoming a member. AAPVI turns no one away.

EVENT: Songs for Sight Youth Low Vision Support Group Meeting
What:
The songs for Sight Support Group is meeting for an afternoon filled with educational break out sessions, peer support, and ice skating.
Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
Who: Children, teens, young adults with vision impairment and their families.
When: January 21st, 2012
Time: 12:00pm - 4:00pm
Place: Pelham Civic Center, Pelham, AL
